We started with hiking in Dimmuborgir leading to Kirkjan - tall lava formations so-called church, a cave open in both ends with a high-dome shaped roof. It looks like it is man-made, but it is actually a lava cave, which looks a little like a Gothic church. Then we made some roadside stops before reaching Akueyri for 2.5-hr whale watching tour. We saw the same minke whale for a few times during the tour.
We stopped by Bonus supermarket and a wine store before check-in this nice guesthouse that has viewing deck for birds and sel whales, while eating pizza and drinking beers.
