I took 2-bus and walked 10 minutes via scenic routes to visit my glad school classmate who is teaching @ Shih Hsin University 世新大學. It was a fun field trip for me since I haven’t visited that area. We chatted with one master degree candidate who just passed her defense today and the reviewing board. I am very happy for him to loose weight and becomes healthier after COVID, but we forgot to take photos together.
After lunch, he dropped me to the National Library where I worked on a desktop for 4 hours. My library card data is embedded in my public transport pass 悠遊卡， which can be used to pay governmental fees and public hospital fees, as well as convenience stores. At a convenience store, I can email print request with attachments to ibon@ibon.com.tw to create a QR code as the ID of the attachment, then scan the QR code to print out the attachments. In addition, 7-11 has ATM, WC, optionally a dining area.
I invited a college alumni who lives nearby to catch up over dinner at a steak restaurant. It come with all-you-can-eat garlic bread, corn soup, fairy grass jelly milk soup, 4 favors ice cream, green tea, honey tea, winter melon tea, and popcorns.
