Palermo Walking tour

I took the Palermo free walking tour in the morning covering Massimo Theater, Via Maqueda, Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria, Chiesa di San Cataldo, Chiesa della Martorana, Corso Vittorio EmanuelePiazza Bologni, Cattedrale di Palermo, etc. In Italy, only licensed tour guides can lead tours, free or not.

I and my hostelmate then went back to some sites to take photos, and grabbed some street food to eat at hostel. I tried Pani câ meusa Which consists of a soft bread topped with sesame, stuffed with chopped veal lung and spleen that have been boiled and then fried in lard. I could only ate half of it.

After the lunch break, we ventured out to the port area. It was too hot for me, so I returned after 1-hr walk to rest in the hostel. As it was the last night in Palermo, I went out again at 6:30 pm to check out a palace and its garden.
